ワシは10年ほど前までよく中国に出張した。
北京や南京といった有名どころのみならず、ハルピン、フフホト、昆明、ウルムチ、ラサなど辺境地域が多かった。
そんなこともあって田舎の食堂で食べたような、気取っていない中華を食べたかった。
この店を見てピンとくるものがあり、木曜日のランチに訪問。
タブレットで注文と言うことだけど、いずれにしても何を選べばよいのか分からないので店員さんに教えを請い「牛肉ホルモン盛合せ野菜スープ（ライス付き）」を注文する。
5分ほどで料理はやってきた。
そのまま飲むと少しホルモンの匂いが残る牛肉スープ。
辛い物がすきなので、小皿の唐辛子を全量投入し、さらに卓上にあるラー油も追加で投入。
ようやく味落ちついたところで、スープを味わう、ホルモンはセンマイや牛すじ、よく分からない部位など何種類も入っており、その謎さ具合がかつての中国出張を思い出す。
野菜はキャベツくらいで余り入っていないが、結構量があり、ご飯は小丼程度であったが、十分。
汗をかきかき、スープを飲み干した。
そうだ中国では、少し食べ残さないと、いくらでも追加が来るんだった！と変な記憶も蘇り、また他の料理も食べたいと思った。
