仕事の間にランチに立ち寄った。土曜日はかなり混んでいる。

飛沫防止の間仕切りがある中、1人でテーブルへ。ランチメニューの他からも選ぶことが出来たが、今日はランチで。ランチの鰻重は梅と竹のみで、ひつまぶしも人気メニューであったが、竹の重とした。

予想よりも大きめの鰻が、十分なタレのかかったご飯の上に綺麗に載せられていた。ぷりぷりの食感ではなく、ほくほくでお箸で簡単に分けることが出来る鰻に仕上がっていた。備え付けのピリッとする山椒を少しかけて頂くも良し、そのままでも良し、楽しめる味付けになっていた。

シンプルな食材のみで、迷ったときの鰻はいつも最強の食事である。
