I had dinner at Kamehachi Kashiwa branch in Kashiwa, Chiba Prefecture. This is a Seafood Italian Cuisine with good access, just a 3-minute walk from Kashiwa Station. The interior of the store was created in collaboration with a bonsai artist, and is decorated with illustrations of turtles and bonsai, giving it an interesting modern Japanese atmosphere. There are counters, tables, and private rooms, with a total of 43 seats. I visited on the weekend, and it was busy with many customers. ◆ Fresh Fish Carpaccio 2 servings ¥2480 We had the fresh fish carpaccio, which is the restaurant's most popular dish. Since it's called carpaccio, I thought it would be served on a regular plate, but it was an amazing sight to see fresh fish arranged like a sashimi platter on a large plate. There were five types of fresh fish that day: tuna, salmon, flounder, scallops, and Oyster. And since the ingredients are fresh, everything is delicious. I especially liked the salmon from Fuji, Shizuoka Prefecture, which was served with basil sauce. ◆ Assortment of 3 types of fritters ¥980 I wanted to try fritters too, so when I was looking at the menu, I saw an assortment of 3 types of fritters that included all types, so I chose this one. There are three types: truffle-flavored fries, onion rings, and shrimp fritters. The freshly fried fritters have a light batter and can be eaten easily. The alioli mayonnaise with garlic had an addictive flavor and was delicious. ◆ Japanese Black Beef Tagliata ¥1100 Japanese Black Beef Tagliata is covered in so much raspadura cheese and arugula that you can't even see the meat. This is the first time I've heard the word tagliata, but it actually refers to beef carpaccio. The meat was tender and when combined with the cheese it gave a nice richness. ◆ Kamehachi Pizza ¥1580 Since it's Italian Cuisine, I took the opportunity to order pizza as well. I had the Kamehachi pizza, which bears the store's name. A pizza packed with Seafood that is unique to Seafood Italian Cuisine cuisine. The ingredients include plenty of squid, octopus, and shrimp. The sourness of the lemon and the richness of the mayonnaise are irresistibly delicious. ◆ Famous Kamehachi Neapolitan ¥1100 To finish off our meal, we also had the No. 3 most popular dish, Kamehachi Neapolitan. What's interesting is that they serve it at the table with plenty of cheese. The service that pours so much cheese on the pasta that you can't even see it is also great. I served a Neapolitan with bacon, green peppers, onions, cheese, and a strong ketchup flavor.
