ハンバーグの食後の珈琲店を検索すると、松戸駅東口前に素敵な喫茶店があるではないですか。
駅前に店を構えて約50年。地下とはいえ好立地ですからおそらく松戸住民のみならず、お仕事や
買い物で訪れた方々の憩いの場となっているのではないでしょうか。10～20時の年中無休です。
調べたところ「カフェ・ド・カオリ」の前身となる「喫茶珈堡里松戸店」の開店が1974年の事。
1985年にイセウビル建て替えと共に、店名を「カフェ・ド・カオリ」に変更し現在に至ります。
地下にあるとは思えないほど広く天井の高い店内で、大理石のテーブル・本革のチェア・絵画も
飾られシャンデリアなど、クラシックのBGМとウエッジウッドの食器がとてもマッチしています。
女性店員さん2名は黒のワンピースの制服で髪をキッチリまとめ、これぞ昔の喫茶店という印象。
客層も仕事休憩中のスーツ姿の男性・高齢者夫婦・ママ友グループ・カップルと老若男女幅広く
賑わいを見せています。ただ、この広さと混雑ぶりを考えると明らかに手が足りていない模様。
席に案内されると「大変申し訳ありません。少々お時間がかかりますが大丈夫でしょうか？」と
優しく穏やかに聞かれたので「時間に余裕あるので大丈夫です」と答えると安堵した様子でした。
事前にそういう声掛けがあれば承知の上で全く問題ないですし、丁寧な接客で不満もありません。
メニューも食事からスイーツ・ドリンクまで種類豊富です。お値段の方はなかなかの強気な設定
に見えますがこの立地で老舗と考えると許容範囲でしょうか。ランチタイムを見てみたいですね。
珈琲は農薬不使用で育てた完熟珈琲。酸味・苦味・濃さ全てにおいてバランスの取れたブレンド
で苦味の後に感じる甘みと後味の良さから、どなたにでも飲みやすい安定の1杯という印象です。
また紅茶の方も優れた評価のようで、1990年より日本紅茶協会の「おいしい紅茶の店」の認定店
になっています。ファーストフラッシュ・セカンドフラッシュは農園別の茶葉を厳選しています。
スイーツは生菓子・焼菓子ともにテイクアウトもしており、1つ1つが全て手作りだと伺ったので
色々な焼菓子を楽しめるプレートセットにしました。理由は1番安価だったからなのは内緒（笑）
