久しぶりにいただきたくなって仕事の帰りに寄りました。店名に相応しく雰囲気のある意匠の入口、そして店内。
いただきたかったのは、こちらのカレー味。お店に入って右側の券売機で食券を購入します。セルフで水を注いで席で待ちます。
一般的にカレーラーメンは、カレーうどんを中華麺をつかってラーメンにした感じが多いように思われますが、なかなかグッとくるカレーラーメンに巡り会えません。カレーとラーメン。みんな大好きなこのツートップはどんぶりの中で共存共栄は難しいのでしょうか。
しかし、こちらのスパイシーなカレーと中華麺を組み合わせは、ラーメンの地位をちょっとカレーに譲ることで、とってもおいしいカレーラーメンになる感じがします。お料理の命名もカレーラーメンではなく、カレーヌードルズとされたのもスパイシーカレーを主役にしたからなのかなぁ。
