成田山に行きがてら、鰻をいただきに行きました。
成田は昔から鰻が食べられており、近くの印旛沼で獲れていたようです。
成田詣といわれるくらい江戸時代から人気があり、疲労回復に鰻はうってつけだったようです。
今回は、うな重や白焼きなど2人で色々いただいてきました。
【生ビール：白穂乃香(825円)】
こちらはサッポロビールが一部の地域で限定販売している生ビール。
とてもクリーミーで、繊細なビールでした。
苦みも柔らかく、食事に合わせるにはとても向いていそう。
【だし巻玉子(660円)】
その大きさと黄色の濃さにびっくり！
子どものこぶしくらいあります。
卵の味わいが濃く、関西にあるようなとても甘いだし巻きです。
【特上うな重(5,610円)】
鰻を1尾半使用したとても贅沢なうな重。
ご飯が見えず、鰻が入りきっていないのが、幸せな限り。
パリパリ感はあまりなく、しっとりした印象。
タレは少なめで追加のタレもありますが、逆に薄味で鰻の旨さがダイレクトにきます。
【白焼定食(4,246円)】
白焼きは単品にご飯類をセットにした定食がいただけます。
白焼きもしっとりで、鰻の味わいをしっかり感じられるのでかなり好きです。
また、蒲焼きよりもあっさりしているので、さらさら食べられてしまいます。
わさびとお塩（または醤油）でいただけば鰻を最高に堪能できます。
店内は広いですが、人気店ゆえ早い時間帯に行くのがおすすめ。
当日は土日で9:45くらいに行って、整理券もらって10時過ぎに入店できました。
11時過ぎにお店を後にしましたが、既に1時間半以上待ちのようでした。
先にお店に行って整理券をもらってから、参拝や表参道を散歩するのが良いですね。
