On a weekday in the Golden Week valley, there was a long line even before the restaurant opened in the heavy rain. We arrived at the restaurant at around 10:15 and were the 23rd group. Numbered tickets were distributed from 10:30, and when the restaurant opened at 11:00, we were called in order of number. I selected this restaurant because my friend wanted to eat delicious eel. My friend ordered the premium eel rice bowl, and I ordered the chicken rice bowl, since I don't like eel. We were shown to our seats and ordered, and the food came out around 11:40. I was surprised when I opened the lid of the eel rice bowl. It said it was one and a half fish, but there was so much... It was my first time seeing eel folded up. My friend took a bite and said, "I've never had eel this delicious before! It was fluffy and fatty, and the sauce was delicious!" I was very impressed. That was good. However, my friend, who is almost 60 years old, said that the fat started to get too much around the halfway mark. He said that he should have just ordered one eel rice bowl instead of being greedy. My chicken rice bowl was delicious, of course, but the omelette was also very good. There was also a person who ordered a beer, some snacks, and some unaju by himself, which I thought was nice too. I thought my friend had had enough, but he seemed to like it so much that he said he'll try the regular unaju next time!
