A dumpling shop that uses no preservatives and has dumplings that will "harden by tomorrow" and are filled with "all homemade" bean paste
The traditional method is to steam rice produced in Tateyama without grinding it into flour, and instead of the usual round dango, the dango is shaped like a rice bag, and since it is additive-free an
...d will "harden by the next day," it can be said to be a "real dango." The dango is topped with a generous amount of handmade bean paste. This is "Boshu Satomi Dango." The bean paste for the dango is made in-house, from boiling the beans, straining them, and cooking them, which is something that only about 10% of Japanese Confectionery shops in the country do. In addition, the store is particular about the ingredients, and prioritizes the use of local ingredients such as naturally brewed soy sauce from Miya Shoyu in Sanuki, Futtsu, and peanuts from Chiba Prefecture. The seasoning is based on the eight types of bean paste named after the Eight Dog Warriors, and there are more than 15 types of menu items available at all times, including grilled dango. Tateyama Castle, where the shop is located, is known as a famous spot for its cherry blossoms and azaleas, and is a relaxing spot where you can relax and enjoy delicious tea and dango while admiring the castle and the scenery.
