[2 minutes walk from Okaido Station] A hideaway located on the 2nd floor of Ichibancho back street. This is a Spanish bar where paella is recommended.
Spain Barbaso de Oro is a short walk from Okaido Station. Located on the second floor of a back street in Ichibancho, it feels like a hideaway, and the interior is a relaxing space. This is a Spanish |
I came to Matsuyama and thought about where to have dinner. While searching for something, I found the Spanish bar Basode Oro and decided to give it a try. Basode Oro is located right on the opposite side of the main road from the Okonomiyaki Pikari that I went to previously. It's on the second floor, and there is a door when you go up the stairs. There are soccer uniforms and videos playing inside the store. This time, I was guided to a counter seat. Now let's order. Let's start with drinks. I chose Wall Dam and my wife chose Estrella Dam. Wall Dam is a heavy beer from Spain, and Estrella Dam is a light beer from Spain. For meals, we ordered a homemade Galician-style meat pie, an omelet with potatoes and mushrooms, Ajillo made with local shiitake mushrooms and whelks, and seafood paella (one serving). Later, I asked for sautéed celery sherry flavor and mortadella pizza. While toasting with beer, the food arrived after a short wait. The homemade Galician meat pie was brought in two parts. The meat inside has a nice flavor. It has a little bit of spice, and has just the right amount of salt between a strong and light flavor. The pie is crispy and delicious. The potato and mushroom omelet is large and has plenty of eggs. The thick bean paste inside is also delicious. I ordered Shiitake mushrooms grown in the prefecture and Ajillo made with whelk. Normally I would order Ajillo, but whelk is also good. The crunchy texture and seasoning go well together. It was delicious served with bread. And the paella you're looking for. This is a delicious paella that is slightly moist and has the flavor of seafood. I ordered one serving, but it was good for two. Additional dishes we requested were served early. Sauteed celery with sherry flavor has a delicious texture and seasoning. It has a nice garlic flavor. Mortadella's pizza turned out to be different than I expected. Is this Spanish pizza? It's interesting. We were able to enjoy delicious food in a nice atmosphere. Thank you for the meal.
