【2泊3日！四国周遊の旅！】
3日目は日本最古の温泉地、道後温泉で旅の疲れを癒したあと、ハイカラ通りで食べ歩き！
「谷本蒲鉾店 道後店」にうかがいました。
1916(大正5)年創業。
愛媛県内で複数店舗を展開する100年以上続く老舗蒲鉾店です。
■店舗
道後温泉本館の裏手に店を構えます。
ショーケースではお持ち帰り用メニューが並べられ、テイクアウトに力を入れていることがうかがえます。
厨房、カウンターそれぞれお1人ずつ、2名で切り盛りされていました。
■メニュー
じゃこ天、じゃこカツ、太刀魚巻きなど。
迷いましたが、
★太刀魚 七味 720円
をお願いしました。
注文を受けてから調理してくださいます。
5分ほどでできあがりです！
いただきます。
新鮮な太刀魚を職人が3枚におろし、竹の棒に巻き付けて焼き上げています。
タレは甘め。
しっかり太刀魚の味がします。
ビールが欲しくなりますね。
しっかり巻き付けられているので、食べにくいのが難点。
■あとがき
美味しいのですが、身が少なく、観光地価格かな？と思いました。
このお店の真髄は蒲鉾をいただかないと分からないのかもしれません。
