道後温泉に旅行に来た際、愛媛に来たら是非とも食べたかった愛媛名物の『じゃこ天』を戴きました！！
昼下がり、道後ハイカラ通りを散策中にじゃこ天を戴けるお店を探していて、辿り着いたのが『谷本蒲鉾店 道後店』さん。
場所は、道後温泉本館の斜め向かいに位置しており、観光地としては最適で、お店の前には坊ちゃんのキャラクター像が立ち並ぶ記念撮影スポットがあります。
又、坊ちゃん広場にはテーブルや椅子もあるので、そこに座ってお店でテイクアウトした商品を食べるのもありですね。
早速、じゃこ天200円を注文。
注文してから、揚げてくれます。
待っている間、外から厨房の様子を硝子越しに見えるので、揚げている所を覗きながら、今か今かと余計に食欲をそそられましたね。
揚げたてを袋に入れて渡されると、火傷しそうな程熱々です！！
お店の前のベンチに座って、熱々のまま戴きました！
じゃこ天ははんぺんに似た小魚をすり潰した練り物との事。
一口齧ると、じゃこの風味が口いっぱいに広がり、油っこくなくあっさりとした口当たりでした。
予想以上に美味しかったです！！
そこら辺に売っているじゃこ天とは比じゃありません！
愛媛に来るからこそ戴けるじゃこ天の美味さを堪能させて戴きました。
次回愛媛に来た時は、他のレビューアーの方達からも評判が高いジャコカツを戴きたい限りです。
