伊予鉄大街道電停から国道を東進、一番町２丁目交差点から南に入った先、大型駐車場向かいのお店。
’０７年にオープンした居酒屋。
ビルの１階、赤い看板と赤い暖簾が目印。
明るくきれいな店内は、居酒屋よりも小料理屋寄りの印象。
年配の大将と女将さんの二人で切り盛り。
メニューは居酒屋らしい一品のラインナップ。
が、今回の目的は店名にもなっている「かめそば」。
昭和に繁盛し平成４年に閉店した食堂『かめ』で常連から愛された料理が「かめそば」。
閉店前に『かめ』で修業し、「かめそば」を復活させたのがコチラのお店。
「かめそば」は、ちりめんじゃこと鰹節をかけた焼きそば。
じゃこと鰹節の量が半端なく磯の風味がたっぷり。
ちょっと懐かしい愛媛らしい味わい。
