道後温泉の旅、一日目の夜は宿泊ホテルのオールドイングランドフレンチディナーです。
松山城も制覇し、坊ちゃん列車も乗って、道後温泉本館にも入り、一六タルトも道後ビールも堪能し、フレンチディナーでの締めくくりです。
オーベルジュといってもいいホテルだと思います。

イングランドでフレンチもなんですが、基本的にフレンチが大好きなので道後温泉でフレンチです。
こちらのレストランはガーデンレストランもあるんですね。
なんとテラスでのフレンチはカジュアルな感じだそうですが、おしゃれな雰囲気でした。
私たちは中のお席でいただきます。
位置皿の絵はホテルなんですね。
食前酒はスパークリングワインで。FITA AZULポルトガルの秀逸ワイン。
★アミューズ 白身魚系のカクテルでした。

ソースはオレンジを使っていたと思います。

お席で完成するスープ。

フレンチに日本酒を合わせるのが最近のお気に入り。
★魚 サフラン風味のカサゴのボッシェとホタテ貝とアスパラのエデュペ セルフィーユの香り
全体的にお味が優しく、ウエディングレストランらしい、正統派フレンチを日本人の口に合うように創作した感じ万人受けする仕上がりです。
★お口直しのソルベ
オレンジシャーベット。
オレンジが豊富な四国ですから、お料理にも上手に柑橘を使ってます。
★肉 ・牛フィレ肉のステーキ マデラソース
ウエッジウッド風ですが日本製です。
繊細なデザインは英国風でオールドイングランドという感じです。
温泉街に宿泊してフレンチというのもなかなかオツ。
個人的には温泉ホテルで洋室で、食事も洋風でオーベルジュ的なところが好みです。
