家内を連れて平日の夜にふらっと出掛けて寄ってみました。
スペシャリテのラクレットチーズを乗せた牛ハラミのオーブン焼きをはじめ料理はどれも美味い。
腕の良さを感じますね。
客が帰る度に角を曲がり姿が見えなくなるまでシェフが見送りしているのを見ていて感心していました。
自分達が帰るまでは。
我々が帰るにあたり一礼するとすぐに店に戻って行きました。
もう先客で食事もする見込みの無い一組しか残っていないにも関わらず。
何それ？
今までお見送りをする料理人の方々は一見の客であろうと姿が見えなくなるまで見送る、凄い人になるとずっとお辞儀をされていました。
そこには馴染みも一見も関係無く、一期一会の精神をもってそうするのだと解釈しています。
翻って。
我々夫婦が馴染みでなく一見だからそういう態度なのか？
美味しかった料理への感動は一瞬にして雲散霧消しました。
オステリアかクッチーナの雰囲気とミスマッチな強気の価格帯は、それはそれで面白いと思っていましたが、残念な接客のお陰で二度と行く気は失せました。
もう一度、料理の前に「心」の部分考え直してはどうでしょうか。
