[Reopening on 12/6] ★1 minute walk from Matsuyama City Station★ A more relaxing space that can also be used for banquets◎
[1 minute walk from Matsuyama City Station] We offer dishes made with ingredients from within the prefecture that the owner purchases directly. We have a wide range of menu items and a large selection |
This time I'm at Iyotetsu Takashimaya for shopping. Normally I'd leave as soon as I'm done shopping, but I'm planning to have lunch near Takashimaya, anticipating that parking fees will be free for two hours while shopping. The restaurant I visited is across from Takashimaya, so I don't have to worry too much about travel time. I read the restaurant's recommendations from the menu I was given and ordered the "KIYO Lunch" (1,180 yen) and the "Pork Seiro Lunch" (1,080 yen). The "KIYO Lunch" is made up of a wide variety of dishes. The main dishes are roast beef, grilled fish, melt-in-your-mouth pork stew, and chicken nanban, all of which are main dishes. The side dishes are a solid lineup of standard dishes such as tamagoyaki (rolled omelette), salad, pickles, and miso soup. All the main dishes were delicious and were rotated (① Starter: Roast beef to make an impact, ② Relief: Enjoy the change in taste with fatty grilled fish, ③ Relief: The sourness of the chicken nanban to reset the fat of the grilled fish, ④ Relief: The melting texture and rich sauce of braised pork), and the side dishes were used as a palate cleanser when switching between main dishes, making it a truly luxurious experience for my foodie stomach. With such a large selection of dishes, the satiety center is naturally activated. Still, the foodie was still reluctant to try the sauce from the braised pork, so he poured the remaining sauce over rice and shoved it into the gaps in his stomach. The "Pork Seiro Lunch" is a "KIYO Lunch" with the main dish and salad replaced by a bamboo steamer. The contents of the bamboo steamer were pork belly, chicken meatballs, cabbage, bean sprouts, and green onions, which were served with ponzu sauce. Since the main dish is the bamboo steamer, it is lighter than the "KIYO Lunch", but it will leave you just the right amount of full. In addition to the lunch menu, there is also the "Roast Beef Bowl" and "Lunch where you can choose your main dish (chicken nanban, fried chicken, braised pork, Hamburg)", so you have a wide range of lunch options. There is no parking lot at the restaurant, so if you are coming by car, you will have to use the paid parking lots nearby. It is probably a good idea to stop by after shopping.
