美味しいし、ボリュームあるしでランチタイムはいつも行列でした。
先日、２年ぶりに今治に遊びに行き、ディナーを頂いたのですが…
コスパでは、私の知るなかではどこも太刀打ちできない素晴らしさです。
「飲んで食べて一人３～４千円くらいだと、良くて居酒屋に毛が生えた程度だろう」みたいな予測は
いい意味で完全に裏切ってくれます。
雰囲気は、居酒屋さん並みに敷居が低く、アットホームで居心地いいです。
高いお金を出して、いい素材、丁寧な作り、いいお味、行き届いたサービスというのは、
ある意味当然で驚きもありませんが（残念ながらがっくりする店もあるなか）このお店は、
このお値段でそこまでやってもらえるんですか？…と逆にうれしい驚きがあります。
サラダバーやケーキビュッフェなどもある気軽なフレンチダイニングですが、
お肉やお野菜は1軒1軒契約農家から直接仕入れておられるようで、
契約農家さんの御写真がお店にたくさんありました。
だから、サラダバーはファミレスなどにありがちな無味乾燥なものとは大違い。
トマト一つ、グリーンリーフ一枚、何をとって甘くて香り高いです。
生まれて初めて口にしたアイスプラントの美味しさにもちょっとびっくり。
実は、あまり野菜は好きではありません。だけど、ここのものだと美味しくて、パクパク食べてしまいます。
メインが食べれなくなるからやめようと思うけど、おいしくて止まらない…
スープもあるし…
このサラダバーだけ頂いてもお値打ちだと思えるくらいです。
この日は、メインディナーにプラスお寿司（アワビ、ウニ、イクラなど高級ネタも全て）食べ放題というのを頼みました。
（地方都市の良さというか、柔軟というか…カジュアルな店とはいえ、
フレンチから逸脱したこのメニュー展開には驚きましたが、これがまた、シャリもネタも美味しかった）
瀬戸内海がすぐそばで仕入れコストなどを抑えられるからこそ叶ったメニューなんでしょうね。
しかし…瀬戸内産あわびがあったのにはびっくり、原価割れでは？（もちろん食べ放題）。
メインはコース料理で、お肉に加え、ピザやパスタもついてました。
ピザは薄生地でサクっとして、チーズののびや香りがよく、本当は厚みのあるのが好きだけど、これはとてもおしかったです。
豚肉や牛肉も愛媛産で、飼料などを厳選して伸びやかな環境で育てたものらしいです。
抗生物質不使用の豚肉を我が家も産直で購入していて、臭みがあるとすぐわかりますが、
やはり、そういう臭みやクセのまったくない、口どけのいいお肉でした。
これほどのメニュー展開、素材…仕入れも仕込みも調理もさぞ大変なんじゃないでしょうか。
都会で、これほどのお店には出会ったことがありません。
褒めすぎて、内部の者だと思われそうですが、全く無関係です。
今すぐヌーヴェルに行けたらな～

ヌーヴェルに行くために、はるばる今治に遊びに行きたいと思えるお店です。
