今治は街起こしのPRで焼き鳥の街としての知名度が上がってきましたが、それだけでなく美味しいお店がたくさんある街です。
若かりし頃今治在勤時にたまに来ていたモードリン。
今治の商店街の外れにある喫茶店で、食事のメニューが多く特にハンバーグを看板メニューにしています。
純喫茶とばかり思い込んでいたが、久し振りに足を運んでみたらメニューにビールが(^-^;
まあでも調べてみたらごくたまに純喫茶のなかにも酒を出す店もあるみたいで、そういう意味ではここは激レアということになりますね(笑)
今回は欲張りに唐揚げがコンビのAランチにしました。
さびれた場所にあるのですが、昔から何故か人が集まって来る不思議な力のある店です。
唐揚げとハンバーグ、結構なボリュームです。
昔はやや物足りなさを感じていたのですが、40代となった今ではじゅうぶんな量です。
ジューシーな唐揚げとさっくり柔らかなハンバーグは絶品です。
今治に来たならばハンバーグはコットンドールが有名ですが、こちらは今治駅からもそれほど遠くないので、是非訪れてみて欲しいお店の一つですね。
