愛媛県にはかなり前に松山に来て以来の訪問だが、今回は今治。
松山よりは街が小さいが、到着が遅かったこともあり地方都市らしい雰囲気を感じる駅前。
宿泊して翌日。
朝食を食べようと思って街をぶらつく。
駅近くには朝食を食べる店があるだろうと探し、ネットを見て店をを見つける。
店の前まで行くと前夜に車で通った店だった。
駅弁を作っているみせのようだが、何となく美味しいものが食べれそうなので入店。
朝定食を注文する。
出てきた朝食は、至ってシンプル。
皿に乗った卵焼きや焼き魚、かまぼこ、煮物、つくだ煮。
完全に幕の内弁当のおかずだ。
これらを食べながらご飯とみそ汁と食べる。
みそ汁は玉ねぎと豆腐で、これが飲みすぎの朝を充実させる。
ボリュームより品数重視の定食としてはピッタリで味もまずまず美味しい。
あまり来ることのない都市の朝食としては満足できるものになった。
