今治産地直送の野菜が、市場のような広いフロアーに所狭しと並んでいる。1種類の野菜でも、生産者別に山ほどあって、いつも選ぶのに迷うほど。
私がこのさいさいきて屋で必ず買うものは、何と言ってもトマト、特にミニトマト！！これは日本中で一番美味しいのではないかと思うほどに甘くて味か濃くて美味である。そしてキュウリ。ハーブ類。季節によっては他のどこへ行っても買えない珍しい野菜が並ぶ。特にコリアンダー（パクチー）は、ある一定の季節にしか出ないので、何袋も購入して、夕食に大好きなヤムウンセンを作るのが恒例となっている。とにかくお野菜はどれも美味しく外れがないのでお勧め！お野菜、お肉（仙高豚、伊予元気鶏など）、鮮魚、合わせて10000円以上まとめ買いをするのが常である。そして、冷蔵庫を一杯にしてそれが空になるまで買い物には行かない。今治というところは、本当に新鮮な食材に恵まれた豊かな土地だと思う。
