Mogami Imabari branch serves mellow and tasty pork cutlet sushi
I went there at lunchtime. The restaurant was crowded. I ordered today's daily special, katsu toji, for 780 yen. Rice, miso soup, and soup are self-service and free to refill. I waited for a light bowl of miso soup and wakame soup. Katsu toji, salad, pickles, and rice arrived. The katsu toji and the cutlet were crispy and juicy. The beaten egg tasted great. There was also onion in it. There was green onion sprinkled on top. It made me want to eat more rice. The salad, cabbage, paprika, and lettuce were served with a light dressing. The miso soup and toppings were tofu and wakame. The wakame soup and white sesame seeds were also included, giving it a mellow taste. I ordered a second bowl of rice and had barley rice for my second bowl. I topped it with nori egg furikake.

I went there at lunchtime. The restaurant was crowded. I was shown to a table seat. I ordered a minced meat cutlet set meal for 858 yen. Rice, cabbage, miso soup, and soup refills are free. I immediately ordered the self-service Chinese soup. It was full of vegetables such as onions and carrots. It was light and delicious. After the minced meat cutlet, cabbage, and rice arrived, I went to get the self-service miso soup. The miso soup was also full of tofu and vegetables. There were three large minced Yakiniku (Grilled meat) cutlets. The minced meat cutlets were made by a handmade yakiniku restaurant and were made with 100% beef, so they were meaty, had onions, and were slightly sweet. The cabbage was topped with a mountain of sesame dressing. There was not enough to ask for a refill. White rice was served at first, but refills were self-service. For the second bowl, I had 16-grain rice.
