If you want to enjoy the taste of Hokkaido in Imabari City, try Hitsujiya. The other day, I stopped by for lunch while strolling through the Nunkawa Valley. Pets are allowed, so I brought my dog as well. The restaurant has counter seats, table seats, and tatami seats. I sat down at the table. I ordered the special Genghis Khan (Mutton grilled on a hot plate) set meal from the lunch menu. For the drink, I chose oolong tea for free. After waiting for 15 minutes, Genghis Khan (Mutton grilled on a hot plate) Khan was brought out on a piping hot iron plate. Thinly sliced lamb meat covered in plenty of sauce. At the bottom are bean sprouts, cabbage, and onions. Comes with rice, miso soup, and Small dish. I'll have it right away. The lamb meat has no odor and is tender and juicy. The sauce is sweet, salty, and rich. The vegetables are also crunchy and delicious. The master was a friendly and talkative person. Apparently he lived in Hokkaido and is very particular about Genghis Khan (Mutton grilled on a hot plate). He said that it is difficult to purchase fresh lamb meat in Ehime Prefecture. Genghis Khan (Mutton grilled on a hot plate) restaurants are rare in Ehime Prefecture, but Hitsujiya offers the authentic taste of Hokkaido.
