宇和島って、島だと思っていました。
新橋に「宇和島」という名前のお店があって、宇和島名物の鯛飯を食べさせてくれます。宇和島の鯛飯はご飯に鯛の身を炊き込んだものではなく、鯛の切り身をご飯に載せてそこに生卵の黄身を落としていただくご飯です。鯛飯にもいろいろあるんですね。
そのお店で鯛飯を食べた経験から、本物の宇和島に行ってみたいと思っていました。その夢がかなって、今回は宇和海に面した釣り宿のこちらへ。
基本料金は６５００円ほどですが、これに１０００円プラスすると食事がグレードアップされます。
で、でてきたのは宇和海で採れた海の幸。すごい量の刺身が食堂のテーブルにど~んと置かれ、夕食がスタートします。身がコリコリしていてうまい。そんな魚を使ったカルパッチョなんかも出て、飽きさせません。
部屋の窓の外は宇和海。鏡のように静かな海の先に大小の島々が浮かんでいて、もう幻想的でした。
もちろん釣りもできます。
