片町の外れにあり、若干の入りにくさこそあるものの入ってしまえば居心地の良い居酒屋。フードメニューに金額が書かれていないので身構えるものの、結果的にプライシングは良心的だったので、気にせずに頼みたいメニューを注文すれば良いと思われる。
フードの種類は豊富で、酒に合いそうなラインナップも揃っており、何を頼むか悩むのも楽しい。ひとまず、福井の地酒・一本義の熱燗を頼みつつ、出汁巻き玉子などの定番肴を3品ほどつまみ、炙りバッテラで〆る。
ちなみに、フード一品のボリュームは多めなようで、ひとり飲みならば ポーションを半量に調整することもできるそう。快い気遣いにありがたく感謝し、ひとり用ポーション変更をお願いした。いろいろと多品種をつまめることはひとり飲みの贅沢である。
ということで、ひとりサイズ仕様のフードを合計4品注文し、熱燗は合計3本、加えてお通しの南蛮漬けも含まれた内容で、税込3500円というのは流石にコスパ良すぎて最高ではないだろうか？
