A Obukuro-style side Side Dishes store that doubles as a cafe in a renovated Japanese-style building built over 100 years ago in front of Tsurugi Shrine. We sell side Side Dishes (more than 30 types of Japanese, Western, and Chinese) made with seasonal ingredients, and there are also side Side Dishes available inside the store. All-you-can-eat lunch buffet 680 yen Cafeterias is only selection during lunch hours, and only accepts Bento (boxed lunch) and custom-made catered Bento (boxed lunch). |
When I was driving around Fukui Prefecture to get my new studless tires used, I stopped by with my partner after visiting the Ninomiya Tsurugi Shrine in Echizen. I had heard that it was a buffet of homemade side dishes, but there was a wide variety of side dishes that would go well with bento Bento (boxed lunch). It was quite delicious, like a side dish for a Bento (boxed lunch), and seemed to have been devised to be delicious even when it's cold. Even if we were told we could eat as much as we could, it would be impossible for me, who is now old enough, to eat a large amount of food, so I ate small portions of various things. It's impossible to make such a wide variety of side dishes at once at home, so being able to eat so many different kinds here for just 700 yen made me feel very rich. It's not a ready-made dish, but it's a handmade dish on the spot, and at this price, it's perfect for my family. The ohagi looked delicious, but I couldn't eat it...so my companion said, ``I'm so disappointed, I'll just buy some and go home!'' It was 500 yen for 5 pieces.
