It takes about 3 minutes by taxi from the nearest station, Takefu Station. It's about a 10 minute walk away. There is also a Yokogawa branch nearby that is famous for its B-class gourmet "Bolga Rice". This place not only serves soba, but also courses and a la carte dishes, so it is recommended for those who want to eat other than soba. There are two different ways to make soba: Nadai, which emphasizes the taste of the soba that goes down the throat, and Inaka-style, which emphasizes the aroma and flavor. On this day, I ordered the country style oroshi soba. I enjoyed eating and comparing them. With Edomae soba, you dip it in a little soup and enjoy it down your throat without chewing, but with Echizen soba, you chew the dark-skinned, strong-flavored Juwari soba and enjoy the aroma of soba that passes through your mouth and into your nose. There is a difference. Personally, I liked the country style, which was filling and had a strong aroma. It was delicious. It was a feast.
