My husband and I went here for lunch on the first day of our trip to Fukui! We took a sightseeing bus from Tsuruga Station in Fukui Prefecture to the Tsuruga Red Brick Warehouse. This one is smaller and more simple than the Red Brick Warehouse in Maizuru, but in addition to the Italian Cuisine Restaurants we visited this time, there is also a Japanese-style meal restaurant that uses local Seafood and a cafe that serves original Sweets, so it seems like it would be easier to find a place to eat lunch than the Red Brick Warehouse in Maizuru. lol We entered the restaurant around 11:45 and there were no other customers. When we entered, we were asked if we were going for lunch or the cafe. Lunch is only available as a pasta (or risotto) course. ☆Pasta & risotto course 1900 yen x 2 ☆Ichiban Shibori Premium 700 yen ☆Glass of white wine 800 yen You can choose from three types of pasta or risotto as your main dish. It's nice that you can also choose your dessert and drink♪ Soup and bread are also included. See the photo for details. My husband had pasta, chocolate cake, and espresso. I had risotto, creme brulée, and hot coffee. The risotto was very rich with a strong Oyster confit also had a burst of flavor in my mouth. The light flavor and texture of the chrysanthemum added a nice accent and made it really delicious. My husband's red sea bream and Chinese cabbage pasta also had Japanese pepper as a secret ingredient, making it an Italian Cuisine taste. The minestrone soup and dessert were served at the right time, and it was a very satisfying lunch, including the after-meal drink. It's far from the station and not many people visit the restaurant, even though it's a tourist spot, but the atmosphere of the restaurant and the service of the kitchen and hall staff were wonderful, and I think it's well worth the trip. After lunch, we visited the attached Diorama Museum, Kanegasaki Green Space, Tsuruga Museum, the "Port of Humanity" where Chiune Sugiura, famous for "Visas for Life," rescued Jewish refugees, and the Railway Museum, before returning to Tsuruga Station by sightseeing bus. We learned a lot about the history of railways and exchanges with other countries, and were reminded of the importance of world peace. I hope many people will visit. Thank you for a fun time. It was a delicious meal (。uωu)♪
