敦賀駅もあと数ヶ月で新幹線がやってくる。そんな敦賀駅も夏の書き入れ時で賑わっていた。駅は新幹線を迎えるため改装している。
そんな敦賀駅の新しくできたエリアに立ち食いそばがあった。
乗り換え時間を利用して行ってみることに。
敦賀は福井県なので、越前そばなのかと思いきや、こちらの店はうどんがメインのようだ。関西と近さが勝っているようだ。
肉玉うどん520円を注文。カウンターの中にいるおばちゃんに口頭で注文。店員さんは2人いるが、なんかちょっと無愛想はなおばちゃん。まぁ立ち食いそばではよくあること。
うどんは茹で麺、透き通った甘めのつゆ。完全に関西風。
「肉玉うどんって聞きましたけど」
何があったか知らないが、店員さんが客に詰め寄っている。
「金額はそのままでいいです。」
客の方が恐縮しまくりで、そんなことを言っている。券売機じゃないのに金を返してくれないの？！
店員さんは、らちょっと私語が大きいし、あまり居心地のいい店ではなかった。
