日曜日の19時に７名で伺いました。
日曜日ということもあり、当日の予約で席を確保することが出来ました。
福岡と言えばもつ鍋ということで、こちらではあらかじめもつ鍋のみ予約しておきました。
「京風白みそもつ鍋 (1,500円・税別)」を４人前と「極撰しょうゆ味もつ鍋 (1,600円)」を３人前です。
こちらではお通しは出ませんでした。
なので、「大根サラダ 大 (700円)」も頼みました。
本場のもつ鍋は初めて食べるので高まります。
すでに下調理はしてあり、ガスコンロに乗せて沸騰すれば食べ時です。
牛もつ以外にニラやゴボウのささがき・キャベツ・モヤシ・揚げ出し豆腐などいろんな具が入っています。
感動したのはやっぱり牛もつです。
適度な弾力や噛みごたえがあり、噛むほどに甘い良質な脂 (コラーゲン) を感じることができます。
その脂や野菜から出た旨味と、白みそとの相性が抜群で、鍋物があまり好きではない私も、箸がどんどん進みました。
しょうゆ味の方が味は濃いめですが、こちらもコクがあり複雑な美味しい味でした。
具を食べ終えた後には、ご飯を投入し、玉子を回しかけ、雑炊にします。これもあっという間に完食です。
福岡のもつ鍋を十分に堪能させてもらいました。
