同僚の『ウナギの寝所でチョット飲んで帰るか？』の誘いに断る理由はなく、博多駅筑紫口すぐのお店に出向くも、スタッフさんより腕で×印を頂く。どこでもいいやとあちこちお店に入るもどこも満席。『今日は何の日？』と考えたところ年末年始前の最後の金曜でした。そりゃ多いわ。こちらも玉砕覚悟で入ったのですが、カウンター２席がかろうじて空いていました。座敷は会社の忘年会と思しきメンバーが楽しそうに飲んでおります。満席で調理担当の店主さんも大忙しです。でも、書き入れ時ですね！こちらは昔からあるThe izakayaの雰囲気が味わえて、あたしは落ち着きます。サクッと2人で5合瓶を空け、いよいよ年末だなって気分を味わい、お店をあとにしました。
