福岡にある老舗ラーメン屋『めんくいや』の博多駅東店を訪ねます。
看板に堂々と書かれている通り、創業年度は1980年まで遡ります。ちなみに、ミトミえもんと同い年です。薬院に本店を構え、ここ博多駅東店となぜか青森県内に１店舗支店展開しております。屋号の由来はオーナーさんのご趣味なのでしょうか。そこもミトミえもんと同じかもしれません。いや、由来はきっと”面食いや”ではなく、”麺食いや”ですよね。失礼しました。笑
平日限定ランチ、780円。
ラーメンと餃子とご飯でこの価格、魅力的ですね。スープは豚骨スープの中ではライトなもので、臭いのが好きな人には物足りないかもしれませんが、きっと万人受けすることでしょう。低加水の自家製麺のスープの吸い込みもよく、かためでもきっちり一体感を楽しめます。とろとろのチャーシーは攻撃力があり、餃子がなくともご飯が欲しくなる味わい。
