今や東京、名古屋でも美味しい和菓子として人気の「鈴懸」。本店はこちら福岡にあります。
2002年の鈴懸伊勢丹新宿店のオープンは、
博多の名店が初の県外進出という衝撃とともに、
鈴乃○餅、可愛い、美味しいというお菓子は今も昔も大人気でした。

さてそんな鈴懸からはやはり"苺大福"でしょう！！
まず苺は福岡のあまおう（赤い・丸い・大きい・うまい）、
あまおうに甘さがしっかり乗る1月〜4月にかけて、苺大福が作られます。
（現在はなつみずきという新品種の夏苺を使って6月下旬～7月末にも販売されます。）
本店でもやはり人気で、午後に一度完売し、お会計時に苺大福が追加投入！
なんとか博多で苺大福を食べる事ができました！
そしてこのフレッシュな苺を入れたこの苺大福をひとかじり、
まずジューシーな苺の果汁が溢れ出てくる。
そして薄めの求肥に、絶妙な甘さに抑えたあんこの甘みが、追いかけてくる。
鈴懸苺大福は何よりも苺を味わう。
この苺が最大限美味しく感じられる、そんなレシピに仕立ててあるんです。
むしろ、苺をより美味しくしてるかもしれない。
和菓子で果汁とはあまり聞かない表現ですが、それくらいこの苺大福は果汁が溢れ出、その苺の酸味すら感じられるぐらい、苺の旨味が最大限活かされています。
なので皆さんこの時期になると鈴懸に並ぶんでしょうね。
お一つからでも快く包んでいただけます。
お土産にしたら、大変喜ばれますね。
そして鈴乃○餅、鈴乃最中を愛でながら、美味しくいただいた後、
"黒豆黄粉おはぎ"を食べたのですが、
これが大変美味しかった！
めちゃくちゃ上品なこし餡、これは喉に引っかからず、そのまま飲み込めそう！
そして香ばしいきな粉！
こんなに美味しい"おはぎ"も中々ありません！
やはり「鈴懸」の美味しさは本店に行っても変わりませんね！
