福岡市中央区大名。
福岡の超有名店『ツナパハ』。大産西通ビルの5階に店を構えるスリランカカレーの老舗。ハウス食品から食べログ百名店シリーズのレトルトカレーも発売されていてそのひとつが当店。
ランチ営業が17時まで。スリランカカレー・ヌードルカリー・ドライカリー・イングランドカリーの4種。ライス大盛りやライス特盛・リアルレッドは追加料金。うま辛ギザやチリチキンもオーダー可能。
今回はヌードルカリー(1200円)とハートランド中(650円)をオーダー。サラダ・アイス・紅茶付き。
ヌードルカリー。チキンカリーと日替わり野菜カリー2種の3種のカリーのあいがけ。真ん中に米ではなくビーフン。このビーフンがヌードルカリーの象徴。しっかりというかめちゃくちゃというかかなり辛いカリー。その中に旨さとココナッツミルクの甘さがあってかなり美味い。ビーフン自体も美味い。ビーフンの食感+カリーは新感覚。
サラダ。キャベツ・きゅうり・トマト。オーソドックスなサラダ。和風ドレッシングが美味い。不思議な甘さだがこれがクセになる。
アイス。シャーベットに近いアイス。ヨーグルトみたいなアイスにベリーソース。
紅茶。さっぱりとした苦味。辛いカレーの後には最適。
ハートランド中。生ビールのハートランドもあるがやっぱり瓶にかぎる。つまみ付き。ちなみにスリランカのビール『ライオンラガー』もありますよ。
同じくアジア・エスニック百名店に選ばれている『東方遊酒菜ヌワラエリヤ』は姉妹店。
