When I looked at the menu, there were so many different kinds that I had a hard time deciding which one to choose, but...it was a specialty! I ordered Hakata Yari Udon. It is topped with extra large burdock tempura and maru tempura. I was asked if there were green onions, so I asked for them. It was served in about 3 minutes. A long piece of burdock protrudes from the bowl lol First, when I tried the soup, I found that the soup was made from grilled chin, dried sardines, and dried fish, giving it a rich flavor. When it comes to udon soups, I probably prefer Fukuoka to Kanto-style or Kansai-style udon. The noodles are soft and not chewy. It goes into the stomach smoothly. Maruten is delicious as it soaks up the soup. Since the udon is soft, you can enjoy the texture of ``soft'' and ``hard'' depending on the firmness of the burdock.
