福岡天神駅に近い老舗ホテルのメインダイニング。
クリスマスマスディナーをいただきに行きました。
お目当ては定番メニューのオニオンスープとローストビーフ。
どれも美味しく、Toris Vinと共にいただき大満足。
フォアグラのテリーヌは重くなく、旨味たっぷり。
海の幸の海老は甘くねっとりとした舌触り、雲丹添えの鮪は組み合わせに驚き。周りに添えられたオレンジ系と山葵系のソースによく合います。どれもシャンパンに合います。
鮑のグリルは磯の香りとしっかりとした旨味、ズワイ蟹の旨さを閉じ込めたリゾット。
オニオンスープは、じっくり炒め煮込まれた玉ねぎが放つ甘味と大人な苦手がたまらない。
食べきれないのでポワソンはスキップして、ヴィアンドのローストビーフ。霜降りを使っているのでとてもジューシー。個人的には、霜降り加減はこの半分くらいでもいいかも。
デザートのパイ。ほろ苦いキャラメルが甘いクリームととてもいい相性。
最後にエスプレッソ(ブレンド、紅茶なども選べます)。
10年以上前にローストビーフの美味しさを初めて理解した西鉄グランドのクリスマスディナー。
