春吉橋の西詰
玉屋本店の2階と言うことで、かつて川端にあった百貨店玉屋だと思っていたのですが…
それとは全く異なるパチンコ屋さんでありまして、その入り口がある国体道路沿いではなく路地側にある専用エレベーターで2階へと上がります
予約をしていましたので、10名ちょっとの女子が作った列の脇をぶつからないように気をつけながら進み…
8卓30席ほどのテーブル席と国体道路を見下ろすことができる窓側のカウンター8席のほか個室などがある客席の角席を待つことなくいただけました
天気が悪かったことが残念ではありますが、一面がガラス張りになった窓側席からは陽の光が入りますし、天井が高いことでの開放的な空間に居心地が良さを感じます
いただいたお料理は「できたてめんたい膳」でありまして…
出来立てだと言う明太子に一人前ずつ炊き上げられる土鍋ご飯、それにイカ刺しとモツ煮、茶碗蒸しなどが添えられます
イカ刺しはコリコリとした歯ごたえとねっとりとした舌ざわり、そして甘みを楽しくことができますし、一見がめ煮にように思えたがモツ煮は大根や人参、牛蒡、蒟蒻とともに醤油味で煮込まれていまして、ごろっとした丸腸のプルンプルンとした脂がとろける舌ざわりに満足であります
そして150mmほどあろうかと言う大きな一腹の明太子
明太子の老舗“やまや”が手掛けるお店だけあって、しっかりと出汁の旨みを感じることができる上品なものでありまして…
タレに漬け込み熟成させたものを一度も冷凍することなく提供されているとのことで、ひと粒一粒がしっかりとしていています
そんな明太子を炊き立ての艶々ご飯と一緒にいただくのですが、添えられた梅はちみつと海苔佃煮、大葉レモンと薬味を使っていろんな味わいを楽しみながら贅沢にひと腹いただける幸せに満足することができました
近年、博多ではこのように明太子ひと腹をどんぶりに乗せた写真映えする商品を提供するお店が増えていますが…
明太子メーカー直営ってことでリーズナブルにいただくことができますし、小鉢が添えられる御膳であることに満足が高まります
