When it gets hot, don't you want to eat food from a hot country? Is it just me? It was muggy that day... the stuffy air clung to my body and I felt like I was in Southeast Asia Let's have some Banh Xeo! So I headed here It's in a really amazing place... the kind of place where if there's a fire, you'll end up dying if you're too late to escape (sweats) I went inside the restaurant. Hmm? There's a man lying on the sofa! For a second I thought I'd entered through the back door Maybe it was because it was idle time? Or maybe the staff was on a break. Then I was spoken to in Vietnamese (sorry. I only understand greetings and numbers) So I sat down at a table and was surprised to find that they had a panel ordering system. This way there's no language barrier So I looked at the menu and saw they had Bun Dou! Of course I'm going to eat Bun Dou. So I clicked on the button for some Bun Dou Bun Dou was 909 yen (1010 yen including tax) I just realized as I was writing this that how is 909 yen 1010 yen including tax calculated? lol And the inside of the restaurant was quirky! The fighting fish display...I feel a bit sorry for them (;'∀') And the Bun Dau was served shortly after. No, this is really Bun Dau! And the smell of Mam Tom was insane! This is Vietnam. The smell was amazing. The whole thing was made with no shortcuts and the presentation was beautiful. The Vietnamese ham and freshly fried tofu, which I hadn't had in a while, were delicious! And the main dish, Bun. Very filling. I was worried if I could finish it all (I managed to finish it just in time). If it was accompanied by all-you-can-eat vegetables, it would be the same as the Bun you get in Vietnam (except for the price). I have some questions about Mam Tom, which I haven't had in a while. Can Japanese people eat Mam Tom normally? Do they find it delicious? If you have eaten Mam Tom before, please vote in the comments below! (No one has done that lol) Thank you for the authentic Bun Dau. I was able to enjoy the Vietnamese atmosphere and it was delicious. Oh, and by the way, I drank some water here and thought, "Mad!" for the first time in a while. It was so bad I couldn't take a second bite. I experienced the bad taste of the water in a multi-tenant building in a downtown area.
