I've been eating Fried food and meat lately, so today I wanted to eat something gentle, so I went to this BM store. I had been to BM, but I was skeptical about when it would come, but I didn't expect it to come so soon. It's cold outside, so a warm bowl of pho would be just right. It's a little hard to find, but I entered the building on Oyafuko Street and took the elevator to the second floor. I found it and went in right away. There was only one other customer in the store who had just paid, and I was the only one there until two groups of two customers came in later. The menu is on a tablet. I ordered "Set A (beef pho, fried spring rolls, mandarin jelly)" for 960 yen from the set menu. The pho came out surprisingly quickly, and it was like warm somen noodles in Japan. The noodles are flat like kishimen noodles, but much thinner and thinner than kishimen noodles. The fried spring rolls that came out later were different from ordinary Chinese spring rolls, and were probably fried in the same rice paper as fresh spring rolls. First, the beef pho. The soup had a very gentle taste. Although it contains beef, it doesn't taste like meat broth. When I slurped the noodles, the texture was not "smooth" but "smooth" and had a delicate texture that was hard to describe, probably due to the shape and thinness of the noodles. The weight of the noodles was just right for this soup. I'm not a big fan of coriander, but I don't mind the coriander flavor that occasionally wafts up my nose. If you add the fresh chili peppers and lemon juice that came with it, it's also good! Next up is the fried spring rolls. When I dipped them in sweet chili sauce and ate them, they made a "crunching" sound. What is this!? This was another delicate texture I'd never experienced before! Chinese spring rolls have a crunchy texture, and of course I like them, but how can I put it, I was a little impressed that rice paper becomes like this when it's fried. I enjoyed the various textures and gentle flavors, and finally had mandarin jelly. Or rather, it looked like almond tofu. When I tried to put my spoon in, it was surprisingly hard (lol) Huh? It's more like agar than almond tofu. Ah, this is milk jelly! (Short for milk agar, a convenient snack for children often eaten at home in the past) The firmness of this agar gives it a homemade feel. Normally, when I've had something delicious in a restaurant, I always make it a point to say "It was delicious!", and the happy smile of the young man at the register, who seemed to be Vietnamese, made me happy again. It was a fun, warm lunch that really stimulated all five senses. Thank you for the meal.
