博多もつ鍋の有名店。再開発前の本店に行きそびれて落胆したが、今さら系列店があると知り行ってみた。料理、飲料、接客、どれをとっても残念至極。
メニューはもつ鍋セットのみ。もつがとにかく硬い。もつ鍋も酢もつもアゴが疲れる。もつ独特の臭みも残り、鮮度も下処理もいまひとつ。
もつ鍋は醤油ベースでかなり濃い。味は居酒屋チェーン並みで、これといった特徴がない。
お冷は有料。ペットボトルのいろはすにコップで300円。福岡でこれは世知辛い。
接客はまるでヤル気がない。声が小さく、誰もが終始仏頂面。よほど疲れているのか。声をかけるのが申し訳なくなる。呼び鈴ボタンを何度押しても誰も来ない。店舗を増やした人気店の、嫌な所ばかりが目につく始末。これが楽天地か…。
余談だがもつ鍋の元祖は万十屋。老舗の矜持溢れる素晴らしいもつだった。ここの屋号は紛らわしい。知らない人の誤解を招く。
