(2023.11.22) There is a restaurant that is a bit unusual, with a Chinese lunch during the day and a Japanese-style Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that mainly serves Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot) at night... Along the elevated line of the Nishitetsu train from Yakuin Station to Hirao Station. I decided to visit ``Dining Kitchen Board'', which was about a 5-minute walk away.The shop was located in an alley where few cars would pass by, so I was a little worried, but I managed to visit during business hours. When I entered the store, there were raised seats on both sides, each with 4 low tables that could seat 4 people...The customers in front of me were two women and three men. There were two pairs of companions, and one woman and three other groups at the 4-5 seat counter facing the kitchen, but there were several tables that had not been cleared, indicating that they must have been busy just a while ago. There it was.The lunch menu includes this week's set meal, which is green pepper meat paste, as well as fried chicken, chicken nanban set meals, tandan noodles, cheese Tantanmen, and mapo noodles.The mapo noodles I received can also be made spicy. That's why I asked for it, but it turned out to be spicier than I expected... The thickness made it even more spicy, and I enjoyed the numbness of the hemp and the spiciness of the chilli while sweating on my forehead. The half-fried rice that came with it had a Japanese feel that could be better described as fried rice rather than Chinese style... Although it was simple with soy sauce and egg, it had a flavor based on salt and pepper. It was delicious.It was a pleasant restaurant with customer service from the owner who spoke in a cheerful voice from the kitchen and his wife (?) who greeted everyone with a lovely smile.At the time of payment, the owner asked, ``Was the spiciness okay? It was a wonderful shop where we could communicate with each other.
