I went for lunch after taking care of some errands at a tobacco shop I'd been wanting to go to for a while. It was a weekday lunchtime and the crowd was mostly women, some of whom appeared to be mothers with babies. I was shown to the counter and ordered my lunch. There was a towel, chopsticks, fork and spoon in a cutlery container. There was a glass of water on a coaster in front of me so I helped myself. I chose the pasta of the day (four types) from the blackboard and had salad, spaghetti, dessert and a drink for 1,350 yen. The pasta noodles were flat. I had black hot coffee, but did it come with sugar or milk? Do you have to ask if you need it? That's a mystery to me, but it was pretty tasty.
