Fukuoka's long-established French cuisine "Wadamon" in the Nishinakasu area. As a sister store of "Resutoran Gate" in Sasebo City, Nagasaki Prefecture, the birthplace of lemon Steak, it was loved by many people, but it was closed at the end of May 2020 with everyone's regret. While many people are eagerly awaiting the revival of the taste of lemon Steak and curry, Mr. Matsuo, the third-generation chef of Wadamon, first opened "European-style cuisine" as an online Restaurants. Finally, on August 16, 2023, it opened as a real restaurant in Sakurazaka. The location is a short walk from Sakurazaka Station on the Nanakuma Subway Line. Festive flowers were also decorated, and it was easy to find a shop. All seats in the restaurant are semi-private rooms, so you can enjoy your meal in a calm atmosphere. The interior of the store was unified in a modern classic atmosphere, and it was built like a high-end Western Cuisine store. There were many à la carte menus, but since it was my first visit, I chose the recommended prix fixe course. The basic fee is 16,500 yen. ○ Amuse Amuse is made of beef with hot water, and the surface is lightly burned to give it a rare finish. The fat melts in your mouth and you simply feel the flavor of beef. The gel-like sauce and julienne slices of flavored vegetables made the dish even more flavorful. ○ Cold hors d'oeuvres For the cold hors d'oeuvres, I chose seared beef recommended by the shopkeeper. It was generously served, and it was a cute arrangement like a small lawn. It's a dish that is sure to look great on Instagram lol The soft reddish beef tataki is topped with plenty of green onions and ginger, and flavored vegetable jelly is combined. The jelly made with the flavored vegetables was very delicious, and of course it brought out the flavor of the seared mushrooms, but it was also delicious on its own, and when eaten with green onions, it goes very well. ○ Hot hors d'oeuvres For the hot hors d'oeuvres, we chose the popular green asparagus cheese sauce gratin. It was a rich cheese sauce like carbonara, and it was excellent when eaten with bread. There were 3 whole asparagus sticks in it, and it was voluminous. The root was more muscular and difficult to eat, but the tip was delicious. ○ Soup You can't go wrong with the soup at Western Cuisine store, I ordered the onion au gratin soup. There is an additional charge for this. The hot onion au gratin soup was made very carefully and was full of the sweetness of the onions. The texture of the melted cheese and the compatibility with the soup were also very delicious. ○ Today's fish dish The fish dish was sea bass poiret. The skin was crispy and the meat was plump and baked, and it was a great finish. I didn't feel any dryness at all, and the flavor of the fish was trapped. The sauce was a refreshing sauce of white wine, butter, and vinegar, and it went well with the fish. The eggplant puree retains the texture of the eggplant, and you can feel the flavor and taste. The carrot with the garnish was a delicious roast with a thin skin and flavor, but without any streaks. ○ Main dish I was also attracted to the original lemon Steak for the main dish, but I ordered the special Japanese black beef Steak. I had a rare eye for doneness, but it was a part with a lot of sashi and a very strong oily feeling, so I thought it would have been good to ask for a little more firmness. It was more voluminous than its size, and I really wanted to add curry at the end, but I didn't end up tears Next time I visit, I'll try lemon Steak. ○ Dessert I ordered Chocolate mousse for dessert. It was topped with a generous amount of rich Chocolate mousse and went well with the berry sauce and ice cream. The mousse alone had a gutsy taste. The number of items in the course was not that large, but each dish had a solid volume. In particular, the fat of the meat at the end is quite heavy, and even if you add it, it is better to judge it after you finish eating the main course. I would also like to try curries and stews, so I will order them a la carte next time. The atmosphere was very good.
