香椎宮前駅で比較的有名な焼鳥屋があるという。行ってみたいと思い1年近くが経ってしまった。たまたま、17:00過ぎに通りかかり入店。19:00までだという。ほぼ予約で埋まるらしい。注文は紙に書いて渡すスタイル。
焼酎を飲みながら待つと、注文した串が目の前に供される。焼き加減もよく、肉自体もうまい。豚バラ肉を纏ったトマトも、なんともいい味を出している。中には好みでない串もあったが、全体の味は凄く良い。写真を撮り忘れた手羽先が抜群に旨かった。出汁で煮た後に焼くという手の込んだ逸品だ。
店員同士で談笑しているので、ほぼ呼ぶ必要があるが、すぐ来てくれるから。
