高宮駅の近く、西鉄の高架下。入口の扉を開けると、大将が豪快に炭火で鶏肉を焼いている。
店内はクラシックな居酒屋スタイルで、長いカウンターと、テーブルもけっこうある。
名物宮崎地鶏の炭火焼きは、コリコリ食感。噛み切れないほどは固くなく、地鶏ならではの旨味がたっぷり楽しめる。元祖焼き鳥。串に刺さないで焼く。これが本来の焼き鳥のスタイルなのかも。
チキン南蛮も美味しい鶏肉を使っていて、本格的。
