中洲川端から地下鉄で10分の西新。最近の住むにも食的にも人気エリア。ここで、東京の上場企業から脱サラしたオーナーがやっているこだわりの鳥・ジビエ・イタリアン料理屋さん。
前菜と生ビールを飲みながらメニューと睨めっこ。悩みに悩んで、オーナーにも相談して決めたのが、
・ホロホロ鳥ときのこの香草焼き
・うずら丸ごと一羽のソテー
・鴨ロースのタタキ
の3品。赤ワインのグラスを飲みながらそれぞれの旨味を愉しみました。手を汚しまくりながら、骨までしゃぶったうずら、ソースと野菜と合わさって絶妙な味になっていた鴨ロース…美味しかったです。ホロホロ鳥は鳥そのものも美味しかったのですが、ソースが美味い。人気メニューになる筈です。
最後は、仕事の話、東京の話、鮨屋の話、金利と為替の話など、ひと回り年上のオーナーとの楽しい会話が続きました^_^
