The end of the year, New Year, 2021, is here. I returned to Fukuoka for the New Year holidays. At that time, I still had two bases, Fukuoka and Osaka, and I was conscious that Fukuoka was the main base. On the second day of the New Year, I went to a restaurant called "Sumibi Yakitori Kabuki" with an old friend and a president who I had worked with in Nishijin. The restaurant's selection was ad-hoc, like "Well, this is good enough." First of all, I was happy that there was a bottle of Kirin Lager. But, it's a shame that it's non-smoking. Since the sign said "Sumibi Yakitori," I ordered Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers). Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) is pork belly, and in Fukuoka, when you go to Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), you eat pork belly first. I want to go to Fukuoka because they have pork belly. They also have Seafood here, which is a relief. If there was only Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), I would end up with beer and Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers)... I'm done. If there is diversity on the menu, I can sit back and drink slowly. Sesame yellowtail sashimi, this kind of thing is good. Then I shifted to sake and added some itawasa. I think I also ordered a grilled yellowtail skewer, but I don't have a picture of it. It was a neo-pub-like place, but it was a good place. But it was non-smoking.
