2021/11に深夜のローカル番組で紹介されていたのを見て気になり訪問。
70年代半ばから90年代後半まで天神にKサムソンというお店があったらしく、そちらのカレーが美味しくて有名だったそうで当時お店の仕込み担当だった方がオーナーをされているのが『まんぷく』だそうです。
カレーの仕込みには4日かかり、隠し味に黒砂糖を使用していると言われていました。
■カツカレー 850円税込
大盛りは＋50円のようです。
カレーは家庭的なとろみのあるタイプで優しい味の中に若干甘さを感じます。濃厚ではありません。
辛さを足したい場合は別容器の辛味液を使います。
カツは薄いタイプでしたが揚げたてサクサクでした。
個人的には特出してるわけでもなく、
普通に美味しいカレーという印象でした。
テレビの紹介では
この辛味液をすべて入れると『W死に辛（ダブルシニカラ）』と呼ばれる超激辛になるそうです。
当時90年代頃の福岡三大カレーは
ナイル（天神）、湖月（中洲）、Kサムソン（天神）と言われていたそうです。
カレー好きの方は一度は食べた方がいいと思います。
ちなみにナイルは博多駅等で食べれるし、湖月は東区の方で受け継がれているお店（あんみ）があるそうなので食べに行けたらと思っています。
