この店は、西鉄大宰府線の大宰府駅が最寄り駅で、参道の途中を左折したところにひっそりとある。
柑橘類の砂糖漬けは珍しいが、やはり注目すべきは上生菓子だ。
比較的大ぶりの上生がとても美味しく、一つで生菓子を食べた気になる。
かなり材料がいい感じだ。
続いて砂糖漬けだ。
昆布、たけのこ、仏手柑など様々なものが良くできていて、最近はあまり見なかったので、新鮮な感じがする。
応接した女性が天真爛漫というか、かなり面白い方で、このお菓子は某有名政治家の血縁の結婚式の引き出物に注文されてもので、すごい数作って大変だったと言っていた。
「それ、今の財務大臣？」、「あたり」、「奥様がうちの店のファンだったんですって、全然知らなかった」なんて話に興じてしまいました。
