This is the main dining room of a decentralized hotel created by VMG, which produces restaurants such as NIPPONIA. It is located next to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, which is dedicated to the god of learning, Michizane Sugawara. This hotel features three buildings that have carved out history along with the traditions and culture of Dazaifu. The dining room is located in Furuka, a mansion built in the Meiji era for the Yoshitsugu family of painters. It seems that it has become popular as a Japanese restaurant. Its origin comes from another name for plum, which is synonymous with Dazaifu. The garden remains as it was back then, and is gently lit up. I see, that's wonderful. It has a dignified appearance. Innovative French French cuisine made with carefully selected ingredients from all over Kyushu! I'm looking forward to it. Dinner [Amuse] Foie gras petit choux and pouting [Appetizer] Marinated turnip and yellowtail from Fukuoka [Soup] Potage of winter vegetables from Fukuoka [Fish dishes] Fresh fish Venoise Sauce Albert [Meat Dishes] Hakata Wagyu beef gris red wine sauce [Dessert] Cartier-style strawberries and Chocolate from Fukuoka Prefecture [Bread] Each dish has a delicate taste that feels French yet somehow French cuisine. It was a very satisfying dining experience that matched the historic atmosphere.
