小倉の街をぶらり。
昔、西鉄北方(きたがた)線という路面電車が行き交っていた道路には今、空を覆うような高架を、モノレールが軽やかに走ります。
傍らにあるのが「揚子江の豚まん」という、小倉っ子が愛するお店。
一つ210円の豚まんを、店頭で早速食べてみます。
いやはや、とても大きくて食べ応えがありそう！
割ると、玉ねぎたっぷり、甘い汁がじゅわっと滴り出てきます。
はふはふっ！
齧ると、玉ねぎの甘さと肉のコクが溢れて。
こりゃ～たまらんばい！
皮もまた本格派で、おそらく手作りの良さなのでしょうね。
ムチムチした食感は、本場の肉包(ロウバオ)を彷彿させます。
この揚子江さん、小倉駅近くの魚町アーケードにもお店があるけれど、パックにしたものだけしか扱っていませんから、食べ歩き的な利用はこちらへ。
