2023/11/10 Today I had lunch at "Minori-ya". It is located 3 blocks from Dotour, past Shiroya and Starbucks from Kokura Station. The entrance is a little hard to notice, but you should be able to find it because there is an impressive whiteboard in front of the store (lol). I have always been curious about this whiteboard, but I didn't have the courage to go in and passed it by (lol). The whiteboard has the lunch menu and set menu written on it. This time I went in for the set meal. First of all, when you enter the store, the inside is quite dark... There are bright and dark areas because of the spotlights. The menu and prices are written, and most of the set meals are 500 to 600 yen. This time I ordered... ・Menchikatsu set meal (500 yen including tax) (Extra rice + 100 yen) The menchikatsu is thin, but there are two of them and it is quite delicious. The miso soup also contains tofu and wakame seaweed, and is well-filled with ingredients. The chilled tofu is also quite delicious. Because it was offered at this price, I thought it would be cheap and bad, but it was just as delicious as usual. However, if you order a large portion of rice, the balance with the side dishes will be off, so I think the regular portion is fine. In these times when everything is rising in price, it's really nice to be able to get a set meal for just 500 yen. I recommend it to those who want to eat a cheap lunch. Thank you for the meal.
